Johnny Cash passed away this morning at a Nashville, Tenn. hospital at the age of 71. He was a great performer and I enjoyed listening to his music.
Also, John Ritter, famous actor for Three’s Company and movies such as Problem Child passed away today. He was 54.
I spent the majority of last night creating a new design for this site. It’s got an orangey-type feel to it and in my opinion, looks pretty cool. However, there’s still alot of work that I’ll have to put into it before “officially” launching it. Plus, I’ll need to find some more content so that the design will work properly. During the design, I immersed myself into Cascading Style Sheets which I had previously used just for setting font attributes and backgrounds colours. I never knew it was possible to position different elements of a webpage by just using CSS. It’s making this web design alot easier and convenient.
In other news, I’m registered to vote at the Ontario provincial election. An elector-registration guy came to the door yesterday to register us. I’m surprised that he actually knew where Riverview was, since most people in Wolfville don’t even know that. However, since I’ve never voted in any government election in my life, I probably won’t vote in this one either. I’m not really into politics, so I’d just end up picking a random name on the ballot.
