I’ll Be Home for Christmas

Posted by tvor @ 7:43 pm

There are only 3 months plus 1 day left until Christmas and I’ve already purchased my plane ticket to fly back to Moncton. I started looking at tickets a couple of weeks ago and kept putting off buying one due to procrastination. While checking out CanJet and Air Canada flights today at work, I noticed the prices were starting to go up with the high demand for Christmas travel. I decided to go with CanJet since they had the lowest price and I would be wary travelling with Air Canada seeing how you never know what’s going on with that company. It will be strange having to fly home this Christmas since I usually get a drive back home with my dad or other Acadia friends who are from the Greater Moncton area.

This will be my 4th round-trip flight so far this year. Looking back on the summer, I flew during each of the four months. I went to Halifax/Wolfville in May, Calgary in late June, back to Toronto in early July, and to Moncton in mid-August. I’ll have to calculate the number of kilometres that I’ve flown, I’m sure it’s alot. I’m assuming that my trip at Christmas will be my last plane trip for awhile, unless something big comes up next year before I head back to the Maritimes for school.

  1. I just got my plane tickets today, too. When are you getting back? Any chance you’ll be in Wolfville around the 17th?
