Return of Leatherface
While watching tv the other night, I noticed a movie preview that had a very familiar story line. I was almost sure that I had seen the movie before, but it was new. Then I realized that I had seen the movie before, atleast the older version of it. It was the re-make of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre which will be coming out on October 17. I saw the original 1974 horror-flick last summer in the middle of the day while having a spaghetti lunch with friends back in Wolfville (the best day of my life, eh Andrew & Erin). Although I haven’t seen many horror movies, this was definetely the cheesiest and not scary at all. Having a girl running through the forest, screaming her lungs out for about 10 straight minutes was more funny than scary. Hopefully the re-make will be better even though I doubt I’ll pay money to watch it.
My plans for tomorrow include heading downtown to see the Blue Jays play their second last game of the season against the Cleveland Indians. It should be a good game seeing that Roy Halladay will be looking for his 22nd win of the season. He was thrown out of his last game for beaning a Tampa Bay Devil Rays batter. So far it’s just Sean and I heading down. Anybody else in the GTA want to join us? Let me know.
