I'm not one to watch horror movies, either. Yet this past week I watched Psycho II and Psycho III. (I didn?t even know they existed until I saw them in the TV listings.) I figured they wouldn?t be too bad since they were made in the 80?s, plus I was curious as to what happens when Norman Bates gets out of the mental institution. Anyway, I watched them in my basement during the afternoon and I was bored more then scared.

My TCM experience. Picture this: 13 or 14 watching Texas CM at my best friend's house alone.. now parents and it's a Friday night. In the middle of the ten minute White Bell-Bottom chase there was a frantic knock at the door and this woman is standing there crying and asking to come in and call the police.. apparently she and her boyfriend got into a fight and he ripped the phone out of the wall... So we let her use the phone in the entrance way of her house..

Did I mention we were alone? And like 13? Yeah so this cheesy, semi freaky movie (The hitchhiker with the switchblade was a little nasty) ended up being a scarring but memorable experience.

If you would like to see the souped up, on crack version of this movie please see Rob Zombie's "House of 1000 Corpses" It's got that some cozy close-knit f*&ked up family feel to it.

And then there was the time we were in a car-chase with an off-duty cop who we mooned while he was having under-age sex with a girl... but that's a story for another day.

I was big into baseball once... but then the strike happened, and I think half the world said "who cares?". I think that strike (1994? 95?) dealt MLB a serious blow in terms of popularity.
