The Definition of my Blog
I’ve come to realize that this blog is more of a “personal daily journal” than an “interesting story/article repository”. While looking through many other blog sites, I’ve noticed a good mix between these two variants. I don’t think that I could write an “interesting story” blog since I enjoy posting everyday and wouldn’t have many fascinating stories to tell. And I’ve decided not to switch from my personal blog since I want to look back on this in a year from now and see that I was able to post something everyday (hopefully). I wrote in a personal journal for the first semester of second year at Acadia and I just found it on a floppy a couple of days ago. It’s great to read through the entries and reminisce over all of the stuff that happened. I wouldn’t have remembered most of it without having the journal. It’s amazing how reading about a normal day from two years ago can bring your right back to that very moment. Most of my entries from that journal were of the form “Studied for the discrete test today. Went to Joe’s with some friends and then to Tim’s until 2am.” Reading that brings me right back to those very moments and makes it so much easier for remembering those good times. So if you are looking for an interesting story every day, look elsewhere. If you want to read about my boring, but possibly sometime exciting life, keep reading, and I’ll keep posting everyday!
On that note, it was a normal Monday here, although the day seemed to go by really fast at work. I was just watching some of the Monday Night Football game which Green Bay is currently trouncing Chicago. It should be an awesome next 8 months here in the apartment with football, hockey, and the baseball playoffs all going on at the same time. Woohoo!
