Thanksgiving Weekend ‘03
I just arrived back from an awesome Thanksgiving weekend in Montreal with Erin, Matt, and Ness.
The train was about 30 minutes late leaving Toronto on Friday so I didn’t arrive in Montreal until almost midnight where the crew met me with a nifty homemade sign. We walked back to their apartment which is located right in the middle of Concordia’s campus. Much of Saturday was spent touring the city and going to the Old Port, Eaton Centre, and China Town. For Saturday night, we rented Kung Pow: Enter the Fist and Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life which were both hilarious. Sunday was spent lounging around the apartment, watching Matt and Erin prepare the delicious supper. After eating, we played a game of Lord of the Rings Risk which I lost at horribly. But then again, I wasn’t really into the game. I spent an hour in the “Loser’s Lounge” looking through the Acadia yearbook and other pictures. Last night we watched Monty Python’s Life of Brian with a 90 minute intermission where we talked with Andrew. That was quite interesting! 
I left Montreal this morning at noon and arrived in Toronto around 5:00 and then got back to the apartment shortly after 6:00. It was a terrific weekend but now I’m tuckered out and need something to eat. And it’s back to normal life tomorrow.
