You Don’t Even Know Me!!
While pondering over a blog entry, I’ve decided to comprise a list of the top ten eleven things that you folks probably don’t know about me. Feel free to create your own list too. It would be interesting to see what people might be hiding.
- Cut my left index finger completely off when I was 2 years old. The doctors sewed it back on but I still have problems bending it completely.
- Had a Seinfeld webpage mentioned in the Los Angeles Times newspaper in April, 1998. The site dealt with predictions for the last episode.
- I am a HUGE fan of the Back to the Future trilogy! Trivia anyone?
- Flew approximately 14,000km during the summer and made it into all of Canada’s timezones, except for Newfoundland.
- Used to be a Montreal Canadiens fan but have moved on to cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
- Prefer Coke over Pepsi anyday!
- Webmaster of a somewhat active Beastie Boys website that I created back in 1999 while in high school. I was a big fan back then and still enjoy their music.
- I’m a terrible cook, although I enjoy making (and eating) tacoes and nachoes.
- Started playing hockey when I was 4 but retired at the early age of 8. Also had stints in baseball and basketball during the elementary and junior high days.
- Voted as “Nicest Person” in my grade 7 class. I was surprised too!!
- Have a huge hockey/baseball card collection back at home consisting of about 12,000 cards. I just need to wait a few more decades til I can cash them in and make my million.
You floored me with 1 and 2. I thought I would know more about you by now…*crying loudly into his own hands*
Comment by Omallley — October 31, 2003 @ 9:35 amI knew them all except 9, 10, and 11, though I think I remember you mentionnig the “nicest person” award. good thing they can’t see you know

Comment by peter — October 31, 2003 @ 11:40 amWhile sitting at the kitchen table, my glass dropped to the floor and I fell with it.
Comment by Trevor — October 31, 2003 @ 12:27 pmdude! that’s totally how my brother severd his thumb!!
Comment by Erin — October 31, 2003 @ 1:32 pmSo…wait. This was a drinking glass? Made of glass? Did it break and you land on the shards of glass?
Comment by Omallley — October 31, 2003 @ 2:12 pmHow many times can YOU say glass in a post?
Comment by Omallley — October 31, 2003 @ 2:12 pmYep, I don’t remember it but that’s what my parents tell me. I must have fallen off my chair and landed (left hand first) into the broken glass.
Comment by Trevor — October 31, 2003 @ 2:14 pmhow come you dont remember? too young or too traumatising?
i was traumatised when it happened to my brother, but that’s because my mom went with him to the hospital and she had her friend come over to help Dad with my other brother and me and I thought mom had left and dad was getting a new wife…
Comment by Erin — October 31, 2003 @ 2:29 pmIts good to see #5. #6 disgusts me, on the other hand.
Comment by Derek — October 31, 2003 @ 2:45 pmI knew about #3. I think we all do? I also knew #8.
12,000 cards? How much room does that take up?
I didn?t know glass could cut right through bone? I?ll add that to my ?gross yet fascinating facts I know from CSI?. I learn something new every episode.
To Erin: you have a wild imagination.
Comment by Felicia — October 31, 2003 @ 7:22 pmErin, I think you’re just posting so many times to catch up to me in the “Comment Wars!”
The ones I DID know about you were #2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 10. Do I get some sort of prize? That’s 70%!
I think I deserve a prize.
Comment by Andrew — November 1, 2003 @ 1:32 pmI’ll get you a Christmas present. That’s your prize!! (even though I was going to get you something anyway)
Comment by Trevor — November 1, 2003 @ 4:26 pmHi Trevor:
Here is a tidbit of additional info on #9. Actually you started when you were only 3 years old and were the youngest player in the league. Of course Twillingate, Newfoundland is not New York but it is still noteworthy.
I feel like calling Wayne Chambers right now to tell about your switching of loyalities to the wonderful Maple Leafs. Even if it is 12:00 at night.
Comment by Odie — November 2, 2003 @ 11:01 pmyes, yes I am trying to beat you, I wouldn’t think that would come as any surprise
Comment by Erin — November 3, 2003 @ 11:43 ambut what I said about when my bro cut his thumb off was true
