Heritage Classic
We just finished watching the Heritage Classic game between the Oilers and Canadiens which was followed by the first official outdoor NHL game with the same teams. Nothing better than seeing the line of Kurri and Gretzky being backed up by Fuhr.
Well I wouldn’t say the best… but close enough.
Comment by Ness — November 23, 2003 @ 5:39 pmApparently going to that game was “the thing to do” for people in Edmonton. I, on the other hand, didn’t care at all.
Comment by peter — November 24, 2003 @ 1:54 amThat would have been cool to watch. Hey. what’s the name of the leaf’s goalie? it’s been killing me that I cant think of it. Is Sundin still the capt or did he get traded? we don’t get a chanel that has sports
Comment by Erin — November 24, 2003 @ 1:25 pmPoor Erin…no sports. The Leafs have Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Belfour in net and Sundin is still their captain.
Comment by Trevor — November 24, 2003 @ 1:40 pmwho does Curtis Joseph (cujo) play for, I thought he was on the leafs, but maybe he’s on the candians?
Comment by Erin — November 24, 2003 @ 4:45 pmHe’s with Detroit right now, but he’ll probably be traded soon.
Comment by Trevor — November 24, 2003 @ 5:55 pmI disagree. I think the wings will try and move cujo, but no one will take him. But thats just me. The only place that might take him is colorado.. and if I’m the wings and in the playoffs before the trade deadline, I DO NOT trade a great goalie to my greatest rival.
And thats my 0.02$
