Downtown in January
I took another trip downtown today, but this time I took my camera to document the trip. The main reason for the trip was to get more use of the camera and to buy another memory stick for it.
I headed out shortly before 2:00 and made it to the Eaton Centre just after 3:00. I stopped by the Sony Store and picked up a 128MB Memory Stick since I only had a 16MB stick which held 16 pictures at 2.0MP, so this multiplied my storage by 8 times.
I also stopped by the HMV and ended up purchasing Johnny Cash - At San Quentin for $10.99. Awesome deal!
The rest of the trip is documented here in the Toronto - Downtown in January album.
Yeah, I’m not sure what’s with Sony and the 16MB card. That’s what came with my camera as well, capable of storing a whopping 10 pictures at 3.1MP.

Interesting side note: In law school we read a case about the geese hanging from the ceiling in the Eaton Centre. Apparently one Christmas they tried to tie red ribbons on the necks of the geese and the artist who designed them sued the Eaton Centre for infringement of moral integrity - and won!
I am glad to see a picture of them
Don’t get tempted to tie ribbons on their necks…
