Easter on the East Coast
I arrived in Moncton at 1:15pm this afternoon where I will be spending the Easter weekend. It was somewhat of a surprise trip since my mom thought I was coming at 9:30pm tonight and my dad didn’t know I was coming at all. Only my sister knew that I was arriving early this afternoon so she picked me up from the airport.
I did my fair share of reading this morning while en route to Moncton. When I caught the bus outside the apartment in Toronto at 6:30am I read through one of the Toronto daily newspapers. Upon arriving at the subway station I had finished it so i picked up the Metro newspaper which kept me company until I arrived at the final stop of the subway. I made it to the airport shortly before 9:00am where I swiped a free National Post from the good people at JetsGo (I was flying CanJet, I don’t know if you’d classify this as stealing or not…). I read through the entire paper and finished up just as we were landing in Moncton. It was an overall good trip and I took some pictures from the plane, where one of them includes an aerial shot of our house here in Riverview.
I’m looking forward to the beginning of the Battle of Ontario tonight when the Senators visit the Leafs at the ACC. I predict the Leafs will win in 6 games.
