Hit by the Flu

Posted by tvor @ 10:45 am

This is just a quick post to let everyone know that I’m still alive…well barely. I’ve spent the last 3 days working from home while I’ve been getting over a bad case of the flu. I’ve had all of the symptoms including cold shivers, high fever, pounding headaches, dizziness, and muscle aches. Last night I feel asleep wearing jeans, my Acadia sweatshirt ontop of another tshirt, while covered up by 3 blankets and still woke up in the middle of the night freezing. It was kinda messed up.

Thank goodness I am able to work from home so that I don’t lose any hours. By the way I’m feeling now, I should be back to normal by tomorrow.

  3. The ironic part of this is Trevor got sick the day after having some chicken noodle soup. Of course, he used some broth that I had made earlier that day…he must think I am trying to poison him!

  4. It makes me think that the whole idea of “eat chicken soup and you won’t be sick anymore” is actually a conspiracy. Probably made up by the big soup manufacturers. It made me feel worse! :)

  5. Hmm… I don’t think it’s just a conspiracy.

  6. chicken soup doesn’t always work for me. I have been sick twice this year and chicken soup didn’t do anything. Well I am sorta sick right now too so the best thing for me to do is sit back relax and watch some TV. Bye Trevor.
