You can just archive them so that you can keep them forever! Also, you can only get a GMail account when another GMail user sends you an invitation. Also, it's from Google and anything from Google is cool therefore implying that GMail is cool. Also, to get a GMail account requires an invite from somebody else who already has GMail.
