I received an invitation to join GMail from a friend, but I haven't received any invitations to invite other people to GMail yet.

And by highest bidder, whoever forks over the most $$ will get an invitation from me. ;)

There is so much space so that you'll probably never had to delete any emails. You can just archive them so that you can keep them forever!

Also, you can only get a GMail account when another GMail user sends you an invitation. I haven't received any invitations yet but when I do, they'll go to the highest bidder. :)

The main feature behind GMail is that it gives you 1000MB (1GB) of space for email as compared with Hotmail that gives you 2MB. Also, it's from Google and anything from Google is cool therefore implying that GMail is cool.

Also, to get a GMail account requires an invite from somebody else who already has GMail.
