It’s 3:30am and All Is Well
I’m here sitting at my computer at 3:30am on Thursday morning. It’s not by choice, mind you. This past week has been packed full of work.
I just wrote three midterms yesterday (Wednesday) starting with Macro-economics at 8:30am and finishing with Astronomy at 9:00pm with a three hour Advanced Computer Architecture midterm sandwiched in between. And no, that’s not all. I also had an Astronomy assignment due yesterday and I have a Networks assignment due today which is just about finished. To add to the workload, I’m in the midst of getting some code working for my final year project which is why I’m up so late. If I can get it somewhat working for our meeting today, I will then move onto finishing up my Computer Architecture project due on Friday which includes a write-up and powerpoint slides for a presentation in April. Topping off the workload is a stackful of Translators assignments which I promised to have marked by Friday morning. When I drop the assignments off, I’ll be picking up the second assignment to mark. For the cherry on top, I’m also in midst of a couple of jobs leads which could see me going back to Toronto or possibly staying here in Nova Scotia. I’ll report here if anything develops.
If I can just survive til Friday afternoon, I think I’ll be okay. Reading week should be a relaxing break although I’ll be devoting most of the time to my project. However, one of the highlites will be the Acadia Axemen hockey game next Wednesday night. It’s the first playoff game Acadia has been in since 2000-2001.
