Final Final Exams & Summer Jobs
I am currently in the middle of my last exam season ever! I write the Networks & Distributed Systems exam tonite, Macro-Economics on Monday afternoon, and Advanced Architecture on Tuesday morning. Then I will be done with my undergraduate degree which took me 5 years, that’s including 20 months of co-op.
I will be spending the summer in Wolfville working a couple of jobs. The first, full-time job is with a grant from IBM which involves developing a CVW server in Java. The server is currently written in C, so we’ll have something to work with instead of starting completely from scratch but it still seems like a daunting task.
The second job will be more of a part-time job working with Andrew to develop a website for a local Wolfville company. I will be responsible for developing a PHP-based Content Management System while Andrew will be doing all of the design and graphic work. This project will span over the first two months of the summer.
Well that’s the update for now. I’ll post again when I’m done writing exams, which is less than a week away!
