Cape Split
After five years of hearing Valley folks talking about Cape Split, I have finally hiked it. A group of us headed out this morning around 11:00am and spent the next 5 hours hiking through the forest and beach. It was a scorcher of a day at around 33 degrees but luckily it was a bit cooler on the hike due to the water being so close by. As always, pictures can be found in the gallery.
ahh, the split, wow I miss nature!

Things are going well in BC, got cable and internet now.. although the tv won’t get here until tomorrow sometime.
We were so excited to hear about a restaurant called the “Atlantic Trap and Gill” and it serves authentic Maritime cuisine, including deep fried pepperonie with honey mustard, and *drum roll* a Halifax Donair. We’ll let you know the verdict.
