Return to The Rock
I’m taking the bus to Halifax this afternoon and will be spending the evening hanging out with my sister and other friends. My mom and I will then be heading to North Sydney early tomorrow morning for our noon crossing on the ferry to Port-aux-Basques. This will be the first time I’ve been to Newfoundland in 7 years and it will be a trip that I’ve been looking forward to for a long time.
The plan is to spend 8 days travelling around Newfoundland to visit family and friends. We will then cross back to the mainland on the following Saturday during the night and arrive back in Wolfville on the Sunday afternoon. I will be equipped with my digital camera, so expect many pictures of the Atlantic Ocean and some beautiful Newfoundland scenery.
In other news, for those who don’t know yet, there is a possibility that I will be going to Africa sometime in the fall. I’ll keep you all in suspense and post about it upon my return from Newfoundland.
