Although I wasn't there, I would agree with you that the Maroon 5 guy would get completely annoying after like.. half a song. Sounds like some form of torture. But I do disagree about Gord "goofing off". Gord enters a whole 'nother world for his performances. A sexy world. But all differences of opinion are allowed as long as the Stones keep rockin.
